READ 180 is an exciting literacy program developed by Scholastic. It incorporates group work, independent reading and computer technology to provide students with high interest, skill building material. Although individual results vary, some students have improved by two grade levels in one year.
We are very excited about the new school year. Positive changes throughout Knox have allowed us to begin the year with a wonderful attitude.
Encouraging your student to read everyday and talking about what they are reading will reinforce the skills we are working on. Also, be a good role model. Let them catch you with a book or magazine and talk about what you are enjoying.
