 WELCOME BACK!

First Semester, 2008-2009: Geometry and Introduction to Algebra classes

Materials--Both Geometry and Intro to Algebra classes need to bring the following to class every day:

Notebook (either 3-ring binder, spiral, or composition)

Tab dividers (or a way to divide up your spiral or composition books)

Graph paper (either 1/4" or 5 cm--light blue grid lines)

3 x 5 index cards (200 should be enough for the semester--bring about 10 with you to start) 

Pencils

ALSO NEEDED:  One 4-pack of AAA batteries or $1.00 towards buying batteries

Materials to have at Home:

Straightedge (ruler)

Compass

Protractor

Calculator

After-school Help will begin after Labor Day.

Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays: 2:40 to 3:15 p.m., or

Fridays: 2:40 to 3:00 p.m.  Students, please check with me during class on the day before or the day you plan on staying after school, should this schedule have any changes due to doctor's appointments, etc.

You will be given an information sheet on materials, help, rules and procedures, and pacing guide during the first week of school.  If you do not get one, please ask Ms. Cauble for one.
