REMINDERS FOR DAY 100 AND BEYOND...............

PLEASE ENCOURAGE READING NIGHTLY.........READ TO SUCCEED!

WHAT CAN I DO AS A PARENT?

1)Required your child to read 20-30 minutes each night. This means they "always" have homework. (Accept No Excuses) Provide a "quiet" place for reading.

2) Read to your child. Read with your child. Let your child see you (parent) reading.(Model)

3) Take your child to the library. Explore books, newspapers, and magazines.

4) Have your child to write about something he/she has read.

5) Be a "study buddy." Help your child organize information, look for key ideas in books.

THE SUCCESS OF YOUR CHILD IS A "TEAM EFFORT." THE ADMINISTRATION, FACULTYAND STAFF NEED "YOU" TO BE A PART OF THE TEAM. YOUR CHILD'S FUTURE DEPENDS ON THE ROLE YOU PLAY.
