The goal of this course is to enhance reading, writing, speaking, listening, and higher order thinking skills. Proficiency in these five areas of communication is crucial to the future success of SHS students as citizens of the world.
Each student is expected to read for a minimum of 15 minutes per night and then write a reaction/connection to what they read in their reading journal. Journals are collected once a week.
