The SHS Jr.-Sr. Prom will be held on May 17, 2008 from 8:00 p. m. - 12:00 a. m. at the Salisbury Station.  Guidelines for prom dress selections are on the December newsletter/calendar.  Posters will be displayed on campus beginning December 12, 2007 to assist ladies with the dress guidelines. Any questions may be directed to Dr. Michelle Taylor, Mrs. Pam Morris or Ms. Meagan Robinson.

During homeroom on Monday, February 12, 2008 all Juniors and Seniors were given the SHS 2008 Prom information packets to include rules and a statement of understanding to be reviewed by the students and their parents.  The attached form must be signed and returned to Mrs. Morris or Ms. Robinson prior to a student being allowed to purchase a prom ticket. 

The Junior Class voted to continue with tradition and not allow underclassmen from any school to attend the prom.  In order for any out of school guest to be admitted to the prom there must be a completed guest application on file.  The information on these applications will be verified by SHS administration.  The applications are due to Mrs. Morris in Room 118 no later than 3:00 p. m. on April 18, 2008.  Late forms will be assessed a late charge as follows: $5.00 during the week of April 21st, $10.00 during the week of April 28th, $15.00 during the week of May 5th and $20.00 during the week of May 12th.

Tickets will be sold during the week of May 5th-9th at a cost of $35.00 each. Tickets will only be sold during 3rd block in front of the auditorium. Tickets sold after May 9th will cost $45.00 each.  Students purchasing tickets during the week of May 5th will be eligible to win prizes from local vendors.

Metro Portraits will be taking prom photos at Hurley Park from 3:00 - 5:00 on Saturday, May 17th.   No photos will be taken during the prom times at the Depot.An appointment sign up sheet is posted by Room 118.  If anyone needs directions to Hurley Park please call Mrs. Morris at 704-636-1221, ext. 118
