Happy winter holidays! We are going t obe working on improving our fitness levels these upcoming weeks in PE class. Fitness circuits and high energy, fast moving, cardio blasting games will be the focus of the upper grades. Visual tracking, fundamental locomotor movements ( skipping, galloping, sprinting form, etc) will be the focus of the lower levels.
Keep up the good job by exercising at home with friends and family and pets too! Just because it's cold outside doesn't mean you can't get healthy! Crunches during commercials on TV; incline push-ups with feet on the couch; how many jumping jacks can you do in one minute?
The Y has a great X-arcade room, indoor basketball courts, indoor track, raquetball courts, swimming pools and a climbing wall, fun, fun fun!!!
**Remember: The game is never more important than the people you play it with!!!!
