Room 207Welcome to Mrs. Rutherford's 4th Grade Web Page2008-2009We are working hard in room 207. I am very pleased with the hard work, attitudes, and team work that this class has shown. We are learning to be responsible, respectful, reflective Overton Explorers! We are busy with new math concepts, NC social studies, writing across the curriculum and science. Every week offers tons of new ideas. Students should expect to have homework Monday - Thursday. Homework is an opportunity to practice what has been covered throughout the day. If you have questions, please feel free to call or send a message in your child's agenda. Please visit http://www.ncslma.org/BookCompetitions/EBOB/ebobbooklist2008-2009.html to check out the list of books that will be used for 2008-2009 Battle of the Books. This is a great opportunity to read, share a book with a friend, and participate in a friendly competition. Multiplication flash cards can be found at the top of this web page. Using these flash cards is a fun way to review or learn your multiplication facts. This is an important skill for 4th grade. Math will be much easier if you know these facts!! Have fun with the flash cards! 4th grade Social Studies focuses on North Carolina. Listed below are great places to visit.
