Folk Arts/Music Appreciation

Welcome to the Folk Arts webpage. As the semester goes on I will post assignments, reading, and other information as we go. Please check back regularly for updates. Assignments

We will continue to review instruments learned and how to read rhythms and identify the parts used in music notation, as well as expanding our use of rests in reading music.

Starting 2/13 we will learn about dynamics and tempo in their various forms and uses; how to understand, use, write, and identify them.

Our next quiz will be Friday, Feb. 15, and will cover all information coveredthrough the preceeding Wednesday.

Our first test will be Friday Feb. 22 on everything covered up to that point in the class.
