Welcome to third grade. Third grade is a year of many new exciting things. The biggest thing that happens in third grade is End of Grade(EOG) testing. We take a pretest in early September and the EOG in the end of May. The pretest will take place Spetember 3,4,and 5. Please make sure that your child is well rested those days, gets a good breakfast, and gets to school on time.
Overton is beginning a new behavior policy this year called Positive Behavior Support ( PBS) . Please refer to the letter sent home with your child on the first day of school. There will also be a letter from Mrs. Tunks coming home further describing positive behavior support.
