Thur Mar 6 Study for vocab quiz 7A p342, all the other words.  Also do Actividad 9 on page 328.  You have to put all the dialogue sentences in order.

Fri Mar 7 Finish the 2nd half of Actividad 10 on page 328, Actividad 11 on page 11, and Actividad 15 on page 31.  Start studying for test on Tuesday.

Tue Mar 11 7B Finish drawing and labelling 8 accessory/jewelry items.  Also draw a shopping center and create a map key for the kinds of stores in your shopping center.  Refer to pages 346-347, and page 370/

Wed Mar 12 Finish the homework from Tuesday if you have not already done so. 

Thur Mar 13 Study for vocabulary quiz, see page 370.

Fri. Mar 14  Get some sleep and eat fruits and vegetables. You need some vitamins!

SPANISH 1 HOMEWORK

Wed Aug 29 Study for vocabulary quiz tomorrow on the number from zero to twenty.  Use your vocabulary lists you made in class.  Also be prepared to speak to me in Spansih as you enter the door of the classroom.

Thur Aug 30 1st period-complete time expressions worksheet  2nd period- write 10 math equations using both numerals and number words.

Fri Aug 31  Use your alphabet worksheet and your notes on number words, and the example license plate we did in class, create and label eight(8) license plates. Be sure to use numbers with 2 digits.

Mon Sept 3 LABOR DAY

Tue Sept 4 Use your numbe vocabulary and your vocabulary for the parts of the body. Draw an unusual creature/monster with multiple body parts.  Below your drawing, list the body parts (include how many of each.) Finally draw a line from the body part word  to the acutal body part on your drawing.

Modelo:  Mi monstruo tiene ...(My monster has...)  dos cabezas, cuatro ojos, etc...

Wed Sept 5 Study for Quiz on greetings, numbers 0-100, and parts of the body.

Thur Sept 6 Study for Quiz on Time, days of the week, months of the year and dates.

Mon Sept 10 Study for Test on Para Empezar Unit

Tue Sept 11 Study for vocab quiz, page 46, the words under "to talk about activities."

Wed Sept 12 Refer to your vocabulary list on page 46.  Copy the Spanish dialogues on pages 26 and 27.  Then use your vocabulary list to help you translate the Spanish to English.

Thur Sept 13  Using the orange paper you received in class, create a BINGO card.  Use the vocabulary on page 46, the section to talk about activities, and the section other useful words and expressions.  Put in a free space (LIBRE).  When you choose an activity, put the word and a drawing in the space.  When you choose one of the "useful expressions," wirte the Spanish and the English.

Fri Sept 14 No specific homework. But, you will have a test on 1A on Tuesday, so start studying over the weekend if you need the time.

Mon Sept 24 On pages 61-62 of the textbook, do Activities 17, 18 and 19.  Also study for quiz of vocabulary on page 70 and the concepts of un/una and el/la.

Tues Sept 25  Study capitulo 1B and review 1A and pages 9-10 of Para Empezar. One section of the test is closed book mulitple choice; the second part of the test is an open notes writing section.  You will write a paragraph about yourself and a paragraph about a classmate.

Wed Sept 26 No homework

Thur Sept 27 Graphic organizer.  Using the school subjects on page 74 of your textbook, make an 8 block chart (fold hot dog-hamburger-hamburger). Give each block a heading of a school subject, and then list the SHS teachers (at least one each) who teach that subject.

Fri Sept 28  Study for vocabulary quiz page 96 all of left hand column.

Mon Oct 1  Use the questions on page 80, Actividad 9 to write about the classes you have.  For each class you have tell:  what class, what period. who teaches, if there's a lot of homework, and describe the class with an adjective.

Example:  Tengo la clase de espanol en la primera hora.  La profesora Eldridge ensena  la clase.  No tengo mucha tarea en la clase.  La clase es interesante y practica.

Tue Oct 2  First period, read pages 76-77 and answer questions, on pages 82-83, do activities 11 and 12.  Second period, Write a paragraph about each class you have.  For each class, tell what class, what period, who teaches, if there's a lot of homework, describe the class, and say what you need to bring to class.  Also read page 82 and do activities 11 and 12 on page 83.

Wed Oct 3 Read pages 90-91 and answer the questions on page 91.

Thur Oct 4 1) Study for quiz on subject pronouns and the vocabulary on the right side of page 96.  2) Using page 84 as a guide, write verb charts for the following 5 verbs:  estudiar, escuchar, bailar, nadar patinar.

Fri Oct 5 Do workbook page 36 and also do the worksheet from class today on -AR verbs.

Mon Oct 8 No school for students.

Tue Oct 9 Study for Test on 2A.  Be able to write about your classes without notes.  Review verb expressions on page 46, subject pronouns on page 82, subject verb agreement on page 84 and vocabulary, including the ordinal numbers on page 96.

Wed Oct 10  Read the culture sections on pages 72, 80, 81, 89, 92, 94 and 95.  Based on your reading, create 12 question and answer cards that can be used in a board game.

Thu Oct 11  In textbook, do Actividades 4 and 5 on page 104.  Also do Actividad 10 on page 107.

Fri Oct 12 From vocabulary in notes or from textbook page 120, draw and label 10 items that you would find in a classroom.

Mon Oct 15 In Textbook, do Activdad 3 on page 103.  On page 110, do Actividades 15 and 16.  Study for vocabulary quiz , page 120 "flag to window."

Tue Oct 16 Using worksheet from class today, translate #1-4, #8-11, and #16-24.  Aslo study for quiz on 2nd half of vocabulary page 120.

Wed Oct 17 Finsih translating the first worksheet for 2B and on the 2nd page do #1-3 of each section.  Also study for vocabulary quiz, the remaining words on page 120.

Thurs Oct 18. Study for Test on all of 2B.

Mon Oct 22 Capitulo 3A.  On page 128 Actividad 5, use the picture to write 6 sentences about where the food items are.  Example:  La ensalada esta encima del tocino.  On page 129 Actividad 6. write sentences to tell how often you drink these beverages:  Todos los dias =everyday, a veces = sometimes, or nunca = never. Refer to the example in your book.

Tues Oct 23  Capitulo 3A Create a 3 day bilingual menu for 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches.  Use page 144.  Study the breakfast foods and the lunch foods for vocabulary quiz.

Wed Oct 24 On page 129, do Actividad 7 and on page 130, do Actividad 8.

Thur Oct 25 Study for 3A vocabulary quiz #2:  from " things to drink" and all remaining words/expressions on page 144.

Tue Oct 30 Study for test on 3A

Wed Oct 31 Finish the worksheet from class, classifying foodsa and beverages from pages 144 and 168.
