We are fortunate to have beautiful Art Rooms at both schools this year!
Children have been able to create wonderful works of Art this year which include paintings, drawings and clay sculptures.
Current Information: I see most of the students at HDES & Koontz every week, once a week. Lessons in our Art Rooms are integrated with the learning that the children do in their regular classrooms.
For example: While students are learning about North Carolina History in their Social Studies class, we will create Arts & crafts that are native to North Carolina, in the Art Room.

I will be teaching clay classes there throughout the summer and I would love to see some of my HDES & KES students there! The Waterworks offers fabulous art classes for all age groups, taught by some really great art teachers!
