TO ALL STUDENTS:
“MUSTANG MADNESS” REMEDIATION:
FOODS 1 FUNDAMENTALS:
The Foods 1 classes planned review strategy games, such as vocabulary bingo, jeopardy, review bluff, and charades. We have concentrated on the most missed questions from our tests. Students have served as game show hosts, and we have some healthy food snacks as prize incentives. Students are responsible for having their notebooks, with all review questions in order by objective number, with them each day for these review sessions.
THE EXAM SCHEDULE HAS BEEN POSTED IN OUR CLASSROOM, AND COPIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR EACH STUDENT.

Unit Objectives for “Mustang Madness” Review, (this week):

    * We will complete a general review of most missed questions from all the units.

Monday, June 2 – Tuesday, June 3, 2008
On these two days, our main focus will be to review for the exams. We will use some of the same review strategy games that were effective during “Mustang Madness”. Last Friday, students learned how to sew a “French seam”, by making a pillow case. All materials for the pillow case were provided by the teacher. Students should complete the pillow case on Monday. Hopefully, they will enjoy the pillow case and their new knowledge of “French seams”.
Students must also complete their advanced skill project on Monday, since this will be the last day to use the sewing machines. Students must clean out their trays and take all sewing supplies home. The room must be left clean, organized, and ready for exams this week.
Students will also complete their exam reviews this week. Students must turn in all textbooks. They must take home their organized notebook. The notebook should contain all objective review questions. Students should read and study these questions for exam review.
On Tuesday, students will go to the computer lab to practice answering questions on all units.
