Welcome to Third Grade with Mrs. Moore!
This past week has been extremely eventful in the third grade here at Hanford Dole. The students worked extremely hard on their pretests for the end of grade final tests. I am proud of their hard work! Below, I will include a chart of the students' homework each night of the week.

* PB is my abbreviation for "Practice Book" a reading workbook that we have in class. Please, do not have students tear out these pages but instead, keep them in their workbooks so we do not lose these pages.
^ RAH symbolizes our "Read At Home" log. Each day (Monday-Thursday) students are to read a book of their choice for 15-20 minutes at home and respond to a predetermined question. Logs are turned in for a grade each Friday.
In addition to the nightly homework posted here, additional assignments might be added if classwork is not completed during the allotted time. Expect weekly math, reading, and spelling tests with an occasional science assesment a few times each quarter.
