Title I is a federally funded program designed to improve the academic achievement of all children. Several workshops will be offered to parents or guardians of children presently attending  E.D. Koontz Elementary School. These workshops will greatly benefit you and your children.

Homework: Please encourage your child to read every chance you get-even if it's just part of a newspaper article at the breakfast table, and turn off the TV when you do it.Your child will bring books to read and share with family members. One of the most effective ways to help your child improve his\her reading is for you and your child to read together.Daily homework assignments are given to students . Please encourage them to read each night.
