Language Arts Information:
Toucan team members will study a variety of genres in Reading. We will write in journals and practice formal writing skills as well. We will study vocabulary through the Word Skills progam and become masters at determining meaning based on knowledge of word parts. We will also work on public speaking and oral communication skills. In our spare time we will read for pleasure and create project based examples of our ability to transfer classroom skills to personal learning. Additionally.... we will get to know one another and have a blast doing so!
Social Studies Information:
Toucan team members will embark upon a journey that will carry us through Europe, Asia, and South America. We will study cultures past and present, governments, geography, and lots more. We are going to discover information together and enjoy our ride!!
