Dear Parents and Students,

I am so excited to begin my 2nd year of teaching at Granite Quarry Elementary! Fifth grade is a very important year. Be prepared to work hard and have tons of fun! I look forward to meeting and getting to know you. We will enjoy a busy and productive year filled with exciting learning activities, school events, a camping trip, and so much more! 8:55 - 10:50 - Lanugage Arts
      *Snack @ 10:30

10:50 - 11:35 - Enhancements
         Monday - Teacher-led Enhancement (i.e., media, technology, etc.)
         Tuesday - Math / Science Lab
         Wednesday - PE
         Thursday - Music
         Friday - Art

11:35 - 12:08 - Math Boxes / Lanugage Arts

Ways to Help Your Child Succeed:


* Make sure he/she has a quiet place to study and work on homework.
* Set a time for your child to work on homework.
* Read with your child.
* Ask your child about his/her day.
* Review the work in your child's Thursday Folder.
* Talk positively about school with your child.
* Communicate with your child's teacher!
