UNIFORM POLICY 
 Any solid colored shirt with a collar-no logos Khaki, navy blue, or black pants, shorts, skirt, or jumper. Belt for anything with belt loops. A solid colored sweatshirt or sweater, but no sweatshirts with a hood.  A MORE DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE UNIFORM POLICY CAN BE PICKED UP AT THE SCHOOL. 









First Quarter Report Cards- Tuesday, Nov.10th
Report cards can not be sent home until a parent-teacher conference is held.

Reading levels and AR goals have been set for each student for the second quarter. 
 KEEP READING!!!!! 
We will use the UNRAAVEL strategy to improve comprehension.
                                      

MATH                        

Continue to review basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts.

Practice multiplying 2 digit by 2 digit numbers and long division.

Style

Conventions

Students will be writing mysteries, letters, and content-based papers this quarter.


Study for weekly spelling and daily language sentences quizzes.



SCIENCE
We'll finish our Animal Unit with dissecting owl pellets and begin our study of Nutrition using iTech lessons.



SOCIAL STUDIES                

Fourth grade focuses on NC History.
This quarter we will begin our IMPACT project on North Carolina's Economy.
