Thank you for supporting me during this difficult time. Things are getting back to normal so I hope to speak with all of you personally very soon,
In reading, we just got finished with "The Shores of Silver Lake". On Fridays, we take a vocabulary test, a spelling test, and a comprehension test. It sounds like a lot, but we need to get used to sitting sit and concentrating for a long period for the EOGs. In math, we have worked with numbers (which I'm going to review again), rounding and estimating, and adding and subtracting numbers. We have a quiz every Friday also. Everyone is reading "Winn-Dixie" to be able to do a report and take an AR test. Of course, students can also read other things, but at the very least, this will be accomplished. I am trying to find a way to make sure I get everyones paws in the agenda, but it is very time consuming and I don't have a good system yet, so bear with me. I gave everyone a paw tag for the time I was gone..so they can't be too far behind the others. If something is graded wrong or there is a problem. Please let me know. Sometimes the students won't tell me anything and I am the last to know!!!
