Sigma Phi Gamma is the Science Honors Club here at East Rowan High School. This club accepts any student interested in science that has completed Biology and has obtained a 3.5 GPA average in their science classes while in high school.
We general meet 1 time a month. Many times we have guest speakers in science related fields to tell about their career. Topics included the medical field, forensics, and the environment, as well as what colleges and universities are looking for when accepting students.
Students interested in the club need to obtain an application from either Mr. Ritchie or Mrs. Boles. Dues of $5 help cover the cost of refreshments during meeting.
