SPRING BREAK ARRIVES
At long last, a much needed Spring Break has arrived for Rowan-Salisbury students! Our school will be closed from Friday, March 21 through Friday, March 28. School resumes for students and teachers on Monday, March 31.
Students are encouraged to enjoy the vacation, but remember to stay safe! Always wear a helmet when you ride your bike. Take care when playing outside - stay away from traffic!
Take time to read a good book or two during break. The Rowan Public Library will be open to serve you!
Thanks for your support of Hanford Dole Elementary!

As you help your child dress each day for school, please keep these things in mind.
School Clothing
Our school does not wear uniforms. Therefore, we need the help of parents to see that our students are dressed properly for school each day.
Girls: Please do not wear spaghetti strap tops, halters, low cut or tops that reveal the midriff. Please do not wear short-shorts or skirts that are very short.
Boys: Shirts must be worn buttoned, and shirt tails must be worn tucked in. Pants must be worn at the waist, not drooping to the hips or below. No underwear may be visible. Undershirts may not be worn as outerwear. Sweatshirts do not have to be worn to be work tucked in, but no shirt can be "sticking out" from underneith. No hats or head sweatbands may be worn.
Boys and Girls: For safety reasons, please do not wear flip-flops or "heely" (roller skate) shoes. Because students have physical activity outside everyday, sandals must have an ankle strap. Tennis shoes with socks are preferred.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ron Turbyfill
