6th Grade - Welcome to Business! This quarter we are going to become familiar with the keyboard and other parts of a computer system. You will be given assignments that are due at the end of each week, and your grade will be determined from how well you did on those assignments. Your assignments will consist of learning the home row keys, numeric keypad, and number/symbol keys. Learning the keyboard now will be a great benefit to you later on.
7th Grade - Continue to look over your notes from the first quarter. For the next five weeks we will be going over how to format a memo, business letter, table, and report We will then get ready to take the VoCATS Test on May 15th. Make an effort to be in school everyday so you will not get behind.
For those students who may need extra help I will be in my classroom before school and during homeroom. Come see me!!!!
8th Grade - Welcome to business. This quarter we will touch on the proper keying technique, and go over the correct way to type. We will then touch base on basic business concepts such as marketing, economics, accounting, and general business information. You will need to bring a pencil to class everyday.
