We are ready to "Saddle Up for Success and Lasso Your Learning!" This is our theme for this year. We are very excited about it!!

Please remember that all students are expected to pass at least one Reading Counts Test per week, and 20 Accelerated Math objectives per quarter!!!!

The following is our usual daily agenda:

7:30-8:00 Accelerated Math/Reading Counts/Prescriptive Instruction

8:05-8:45 Special Classes

Restroom and water break

8:45-9:55 Language Arts

9:55-10:55 Writers' Workshop

10:55-11:20 Lunch

Restroom Break

11:20-12:45 Math

12:45-1:15 Social Studies / Science / Health/ Lang. Arts

1:15-1:45 Intervention block

1:45-2:15 Recess

2:25 Dismissal

In math, we are working on reviewing/revisiting all objectives covered this past school year to prepare for this year. We are stars and we will shine!

During first quarter, we are studying plants and nutrition in science and health. We are doing a unit on citizenship and reading maps in social studies.

 -Read and record it on your daily log.


Wednesday     - Reading WB p. 17-18

     -Subtraction Action WS

 -Read and record it on your daily log.


Thursday        - Reading WB p. 19-20

  -Algebra worksheet

  -Read and record it on your daily log.


Friday - Relax! You have worked very hard this week!


Remember to begin bringing in nutrition labels. 




Be sure to read at least 4 nights each week for 15 minutes and record it in your agenda!!!!!
