I will continue to keep the information below posted because we are still having problems with independent reading and homework.

*****Parents, we really need your cooperation in the area of independent reading.  Please make sure your child reads at least five different days of the week, not five times in one day.
Important notes to remember:

***Reading logs are checked each Wednesday. Students should have read at least five different days at that time. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.

Folders go home each  Wednesday with your child's work for the week. It is important that you sign the sheet in the folder indicating that you received your child's work. Folders are to be returned on Thursday. If folders are still out on Friday, the student will have silent lunch.

***Students will have homework each night, except Friday. They will bring home a weekly spelling homework sheet. Their spelling test will be given on Fridays. Extra homework may be given at times. Homework assignments will be listed in agendas.
