Parents and Teachers are "The Wind Beneath Thier Wings"
Dear Parents:
Be sure that your child is doing his or her homework everyweek because it is so improtant for their educational development. Doing homework builds responsibility and responsibility developes character in students. Throughout a students educational and personal life these traits will support and carry them to successful life experiencies not only in the classroom but on jobs sites also.
Every week the children are expected to learn their spelling words and vocabulary words for a test on Friday. Knowing these words help a student read with fluency which allows them to better comprehend what they read. Having the ability or skill to comprehend a student achieves better test scores.
Please, try to go over these two sets of words with your child daily. These words are sent home every Monday in their Homework Folder.
Math facts are sent home weekly for your child to build Math Fact fluency. This skill of being able to quickly add two one digit numbers builds a foundation for higher level skills in Math for later on.
Here are some websites you can visit with your child at home.
