1st Quarter Activites ( Based on objectives from the North Carolina Standard Course of Study):
Current Events= Students will be responsible for reading and summarizing 3 current events each month. These assignment is due the last Friday of each month.
During the 1st Quarter we will study the Geography of North Carolina and how landmarks have effected population growth of the state. We will continue by looking at the first inhabitants of North Carolina, the American Indian. Later, we will study the Early Explorers and how the new world was developed.
