EL EXAMEN DE INGLES W-APT
Que es el W-APT?
El W-APT es un nuevo examen que sera implementado para determinar el nivel de ingles de todos los estudiantes nuevos que hablen otro idioma distinto al ingles.
Cuando seran evaluados los estudiantes con el W-APT?
Durante los primeros dos dias de clase se determinaran quienes tomaran el W-APT. Para ello, las encuestas de idioma llenadas por los padres seran previamente revisadas, y los padres seran notificados de este examen por medio de una carta que sera enviada el lunes o el martes a mas tardar.
Que pasara despues?
Despues de determinar el nivel de ingles de su hijo(a), se le enviara una carta en la cual usted chequeara una de las opciones dependiendo si usted desea o no que su hijo(a) reciba clases de ingles adicionales. Esta carta debe ser firmada tambien y enviada a Mr. Martinez lo mas pronto posible para que su hijo pueda recibir clases de ingles.

THE W-APT TEST
What is the W-APT?
The W-APT is a new language proficiency test that will be implemented in order to determine the language proficiency level in English of every newly-enrolled child whose first language is not English.
When will the ESOL students be evaluated with the W-APT?
During the first two days of school, the ESOL teacher will determine who is eligible to be tested with the new W-APT by reviewing the language survey of every newly-enrolled child at Isenberg whose first language is not English. Parents will be notified about the W-APT administration through a letter that will be sent this Tuesday at the latest.
What happens next?
After determining the level of English of newly-enrolled children, parents will receive a permission letter that will have to be checked, signed and returned to Mr. Martinez as soon as possible so that children can start receiving English lessons.
