Welcome to Mrs. Smith's Kindergarten!!!
Thank you for the items that you have sent for our kindergarten yard sale and for our end of the year sand pails. It is not too late to send items for each of these projects.
It is so hard to believe that your child is almost a first grader. It only seems like yesterday that you came to Open House to introduce yourselves and your child. It has been a great year, and I have seen the children make so much progress. You and your child have worked very hard. I want to say a big THANK YOU for all your help, support, and encouraging words. You have been a great group of parents to work with.
Please continue to read to your child and with your child over the summer. Also continue to have your child write sentences/stories. If you take the time to do these activities, your child will get off to an easier and more successful start in first grade.
Enjoy your child. A child is little for such a short time. It seems like such a very short time ago that I was going to my own sons' kindergarten open houses. Now they are 20 and 21 years old. Time passes so very quickly!!!
I want to say a Loving Good-bye to each one of you. May God bless you, your child, and the rest of your family in the days and years ahead.
