Bienvenidos (welcome) to an introduction of the Spanish Language. Our focus of study will be the language pronounciation and sound system, basic vocabulary, and culture. Our areas of study will specifically include: identifying Spanish-speaking countries vocabulary topics of Greetings/Introductions, Calendar terms, making descriptions of ourselves and others using adjectives appropriately, using numbers in Spanish in everyday ways, vocabulary of Clothing, Family,and expressing likes and disllkes. Students will learning Spanish through song, reading, writing, speaking, and listening to the language.
Third Quarter Third Quarter has progressed nicely. This group of students are very enthusiastic and cooperative!! Ask your student to give their birthdate in Spanish or sing one of our songs we have learned in class. They should be able to tell you the 23 countries that have Spanish as their official language.
