A few tips for math survival:

• take your notebook home everyday and use it
• review your notes at least 15 min per day ( during commercials of a 1 hour TV show is about 12-15 minutes)
• ask questions in class if you don't understand
• "redo" any assignment that you feel you want a better grade on (even if it is an A or B)
• don't get behind, it will be hard to catch up later
• put your name and heading on all assignments
• last but not least, BE IN SCHOOL EVERY DAY!!!!!!!
• If you have to be out, MAKE UP YOUR WORK!!!!!! (Not making up work is where most students lose points off of his/her grade)

During Third Quarter,  we will...

• continue to cover functions, inequalities, and graphing and creating equations from them
• begin geometry and use our graphing knowledge to create some neat figures
• continue to review any material that we have already learned
• continue to have nightly review homework, don't get behind with this either
