News Flash!
8th grade is now studying the film "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" as part of the Story of Movies curriculum, which is a National Film Curriculum. This is a long range curriculum that integrates film, social studies, science, art, mathematics and language arts through the study of classic films. (For more information check out the link below.)
Bulldog News is currently in production. Students are studying the film production process. The current focus is preproduction and the screenwriter, production designer, and music composer.Students are beginning work on a music video and the Farewell Show. Bulldog News is filming now. Stay tuned.
7th grade is studying the basics of video production using the textbook Television Production: A Classroom Approach.
7th grade is working in the studio and is studying the planning behind a video project as they complete work on the annual 5th grade video that is shown at our feeder elementary schools as 5th graders prepare to register for middle school in late April. 7th grade Bulldog News will next air on May 2.

Parent Information
Video production students are entitled to a copy of the episodes of Bulldog News they are producing. If you would like a copy, send a blank DVD-R and we will be happy to duplicate them for you. If your child is not in video production, but would like a copy of a particular episode, please contact me at the school and we will make every effort to fill your request on VHS or DVD-R.
