It is hard to believe that the end of the year is almost here! As I reflect back over all we have learned and accomplished this year, the memories are bittersweet. We conducted many hands on experiments in science class, used lots of manipulatives in math class, and went on several field trip that enriched our curriculum. We had many guest speakers, human as well as of the raptor species that brought our learning to life! It has been an unforgettable year! As your child graduates from elementary school and takes the huge step forward into middle school, I hope you will take the time to reflect with your child over how far they have come. I am proud of each and every one of my students. I am glad for the opportunity to have been part of their lives as their fifth grade teacher.
I wish everyone much happiness and success in the future. I look forward to seeing and hearing from all of you soon. Take care and remember all of us back at Knollwood Elementary School.
