Life Skills students are finishing up a busy quarter. We completed a successful holiday service project of sponsoring two cottages at the Nazareth Children's Home. Students were able to make the holidays brighter for 16 boys and girls. What a wonderful and special learning experience for everyone!
Students have been busy studying child development. Sixth, seventh, and eighth graders completed poster projects showing the developmental differences of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. They also learned how to change diapers! All students practiced laundry care and learned how to iron, while eighth graders prepared individual portfolio projects to wrap up the quarter.
New students will begin by studying family relationships and understanding the importance of our family ancestry. They will complete family tree projects and circles of life! We will be busy, busy, busy!
