I was born and raised in North Carolina. I grew up in Lewisville, which is just west of Winston-Salem. I moved to Charlotte in 1999 to go to college and never left. This will be my 5th year teaching, all of which I have taught students with autism. My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, taking care of my dog(Koda) and cat (Tigger), cross-stitching, and reading...and right now, planning my wedding!
We are gearing up and getting things ready for the 2008-2009 school year. We will be working very hard this year on our IEP goals and Standard Course of Study. This year we will be having weekly spelling tests and you will be able to find flashcards for those words at the top of this page, where the link says "Flashcards."
