Parents and students interested in North Rowan Middle School sports programs are encouraged to attend Booster Club meetings. The NRMS Booster Club is accepting new memberships. The cost for memberships are only $5.00. Attendance is strongly encoraged. PLEASE join the NRMS Booster Club. Membership's are only $5.00 per person. As with many other school's in the county, the Booster Club is the biggest financial supporter of the Athletic Dept. If you can't join, please donate your time, skill and labor to assist with other projects. MEETINGS are the FIRST MONDAY or TUESDAY of EACH MONTH at 5:30pm in the MEDIA CENTER. ALL PARENTS are INVITED. This Club is not just for CURRENT athlete's parents. In order to be as strong as possible future athlete's parents(5th grade and 6th grade parents) are NEEDED as MEMBERS. Things done TODAY will be used by those TOMORROW and BEYOND.... **************** ALWAYS PUT CHILDREN FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any athlete needing a physical should go to your family doctor. ALL ATHLETE'S ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A PHYSICAL, PERMISSION SLIP AND MEDICAL RELEASE FORM ON FILE BEFORE TRYING OUT FOR ANY SPORT. A physical is good for 365 days. Forms can be gotten from the front office. There are three forms that must be completed and in the hands of the Athletic Director before staying after-school for any tryouts. They are as follows: Current Physical Examination , Participation Form, Permission Slip and Medical Release/Emergency Contact Form. All three should be turned in at the same time. Any 7th or 8th grade student wishing to tryout for sports this upcoming school year should recieve proper forms prior to tryouts. Those prospective player's along with their parent's or guardian should attend an informational meeting prior to that sports season. This meeting will allow parents the opportunity to get necessary paper work completed, receive important information concerning the season and get information on team needs, practice and game schedules. Age, academic, attendance and conduct requirements are also established to determine eligibility.
THANK YOU, ATHLETIC DIRECTOR'S
