STRAIGHT FROM THE 202 NEWSROOM:
A Note from Ms. Brown...
The second week of school has been fantastic! I am so excited about all the great things our students are doing in math and science. We have really gotten off to a great start.
This week in math and science...
TEST OVERVIEW:
This week we will be taking a Math 4 Today test on Tuesday. Students will be able to use their Math 4 today worksheets on the test. We will also take a science inquiry test on Friday. This test will be a performance assessment that will require students to perform measuring skills they have learned. Students will be going to different stations in the science lab for this test.
In math this week we will be studying properties and inverse operations. On Friday we will start the decimals unit.
In science this week we will continue with scientific inquiry.
This week at BSIS:
Monday: enjoy Labor Day with your family and friends! No school today!
Friday: Sandy's Shaved Ice ($2.00)
REMINDERS:
Please make sure that you sign your child's agenda nightly, even on Fridays. This is one way we keep the communication lines from school to home open. Also, students who have not missed more than 2 days a month get a reward at the end of the month!
If you have not already, please make sure I have your e-mail address. I will need it to register you for TeacherEase.
We still are about 20 dollars short for our TeacherEase payment for the year. Any additional contribution you could make would be greatly appreciated!
