Dear Sixth Grade Parents and Students,
My name is Joan Conner, and I'm very excited to be teaching your children 6th grade science this year! My goal is to make my science classroom an exciting, interesting place, with lots of hands-on experiences. Working together will result in the best possible learning experience for your child. Please feel free to email me with any concerns or questions. I plan to communicate via email, telephone, and writing notes in agendas as needed.
Please be sure to sign your child's agenda every night.
Teacherease.com is online!
Lesson plans for the week of September 8th are attached. Lesson plans are tentative and subject to change as needed to benefit the students.
Donations: I am trying to get an aquarium started in our classroom. We will be studying vertebrates, including fish, later on this year, and the students will enjoy watching our aquatic buddies in the classroom! I have had the aquarium up and running for several weeks now, and it's time to add the fish. Students may bring in medium-sized goldfish of any variety. We could also use a couple of catfish. We appreciate your support!
If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at joan.conner@spartanburg2.k12.sc.us.
