Letter to Parents

Parents, it is very important that we communicate to ensure that your child is successful in school.  An agenda is provided by the school district to note important dates and assignments.  I recommend that students write assignments and other pertinent information in this agenda daily.  If your child loses their agenda, he/she may record important dates in a manner that you and  your child feel is best and most effective.  If agendas are lost, I recommend that you purchase a replacement from the school if available or purchase a calendar of some sort so that your child remains organized.  

Please remember that if any changes in transportation occur, notify me by phone or in writing so that your child can get home as soon as possible.  If your child is a bus rider, it is also a good idea to contact the transportation office.  The transportation office telephone number is 864-902-3646.  If you have any questions or concerns, I may be contacted at 864-902-3630 or through the emial link on this page.

None at this time.  Please check your child's agenda daily. 

Social Expectations

In our social skills class, I emphasize appropriate behavior in various settings.  Students receive rewards or consequences for behavior in which they demonstrate.  Social expections for the classroom is as follows:  

Respect - Respect yourself and the rights of others at all times through actions and words

Order - Conduct yourself in an orderly manner at all times

Safety - Conduct yourself in a safe manner at all times

Property - Care for your property as well as the property of others at all times

On Task - Listen, follow directions, and be responsible and prpared for each school day.
