In the Algebra 1 class the students will be able to
1. Solve proportions.
2. Work with and solve percent problems.
3. Write linear equations given two points.
4. Solve direct and inverse variation problems.
5. Simplify rational expressions.
6. Multiply and divide rational expressions.
7. Divide polynomials.
In the Math 8 class the students will be able to
1. Write and solve inequalities.
2. Express numbers in scientific notation.
3. Evaluate polynomial expressions.
4. Simplify polynomials and name like terms.
5. Add polynomials.
6. Subtract polynomials
7. Multiply polynomials.
8. Multiply binomials.
Interim grades will be sent home approximately every two weeks.
"New PACT testing procedures prohibit students from bringing cell phones, calculators, radios and other electronic devices into the test sites. This includes watches that may have calculators on them. If students have these devices during the test they will be removed from the testing site.
Please do not allow your children to bring these types of items to school during the two weeks of PACT testing."
