     Bienvenue a L'Ecole Granard Midi!.  We are beginning a new year( bonne annee)  en francais.  We will be studying the family (la famille),, les copains (boyfriends), et les copines (girlfriends) in the 7th and 8th

  .   We will be studying Les Objects de la Salle de Classe in the 6th grade classes.  We will learn the vacabulary  words for things in our classroom through the use of scavenger hunts, labeling the objects, and playing Touche.  Touche is the competitive game in which two players stand together and hear the object name called out by the teacher or another student.  Each student tries to be the first player to touch the designated object in the room.
