November has lots of activities during this month. Luther Vaughan has six students in the fifth grade who are new members of the Beta Club. Berenice Ramirez, President, Christopher Littlejohn, Vice-President, Ivy Gallman, Dominque Boyd, Markia Tate and Danielle Colston are the new members. Also, the Beta Club will begin their big project for the year. They will collect food cans from all the students at Luther Vaughan. The canned food will be given to the Salvation Army.
This month second and third graders will take the census test CogAt and ITBS. The results of this test will be used to select the students for Gifted and Talented. Please make sure your students attend school and don't leave early during the day.
Luther Vaughan students are working on their attendance incentive. In each grade the class with the best attendance will earn an ice cream party. Parents, please help your students win the party.
