Spelling/Word Wall Words and vocabulary words should be studied daily.

Wednesday 5/21:

Reading assignment:  “Leon and Bob” p.170-190               

Thursday 5/22:

Reading assignment:  “Review both stories” p.162-190    

Friday:  5/23

No School!     

Monday 5/26:

No School!

Tuesday – Friday, May 27-30: Book of your choice

Math Focus Skills:

Math Focus Skills: to understand & show the order of events; to solve problems by using an appropriate strategy such as make a graph; to use a schedule to get information & compare events; to solve problems by making a reasonable estimate

Unit 4 Test – May 28- use practice test/study guide as a review

Reading Focus Skills

Reading Focus Skills: author/illustrator/title page; preview/predict; genre; listening skills; comprehension; setting; reading for fluency; main idea; theme; author’s purpose; plot; diphthong oi, oy, ou, ow; multisyllabic words; synonyms/antonyms; drawing conclusions; singular/plural nouns; suffix –ly 

Reading should be done everyday. 

The Reading/ELA tests will no longer be read to the students.
