Thank you for visiting my website. You will be able to find all sorts of helpful information here, from assignment due dates to vocabulary flashcards and then some! I will update the site regularly to keep you informed.

I am extremely excited to begin this new year. This year our theme is "Going Green: Better Than We Need to Be." To successfully carry this idea out in our school, expectations will remain high for both students and faculty. We will work hard this year to show students the relevance of what they are learning and how skills learned at GHS will help them in the real world, and we will help students learn how the concept of "reuse, renew, recycle" can affect all areas of their lives.

Materials for English II: 3-ring binder with the following sections:  Vocabulary, Reading, and Writing/Grammar. Sticky notes and two highlighters (of different colors). Students will be provided with a writing portfolio to keep writing assignments in that will be kept in class.

Students will be given an agenda sheet to keep up with assignments, due dates, and whether or not they have turned assignments in. Students will also be given a calendar to keep track of due dates and such.

 Upcoming Events

October 21 - End of 1st 9 weeks.

November 3 - Parent Conferences from 3:30 to 7:00.

November 3 - Holocaust Survivor at GHS at 7:00 p.m.

November 4 - Election Day! No school.

November 5 - Report Cards.
