AUDITIONS! AUDITIONS! AUDITIONS!
We are accepting applications from students in the 1st to 5th grades for new positions on our News Crew. If you are interested, please come to the Media Center and pick up an application. Next week I will begin scheduling auditions. I will try to make a decision by September 1st!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Our News Crew could use at least 1 parent volunteer or a staff helper. All the best elementary school programs have at least 2 people running the show. If you are interested in assisting with S.E.N. News, please contact Mrs. Yearicks at 853-6020 between the hours of 7:30am and 3:30pm.
PROJECTS:
We are doing a documentary for PCSBTV on Griffin's history! I have already begun to gather research and schedule interviews. We will be able to enter part of the package for next year's video awards!
We are also still working on our stop animation project called the "Magical Media" project that we will also be able to enter in the Video Awards. This year's Video Awards theme is "The Pirates of the Video Awards".
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
Please make sure your children arrive daily at 7:45am. They should be in proper uniform, including a belt, and be ready with their segment. If your student is absent, please send me a note or call me at school. (853-6020) Several of you are already doing this, and I thank you. It helps me plan our show if I know that a student cannot be present. Regular unexplained absences may result in removal from the S.E.N. Team. Please feel free to call me with any questions regarding this.
