Reading: This week we will be working on inferencing. The students will learn how to find the clues that an author gives, connect it with what they already know in order to figure something out.
Math: We will begin working on rounding numbers to the nearest ten and hundred. The students will also work at skip counting in math.
Language Arts: In grammar this week we will work on possessive nouns. In writing we will learn to write quick writes, which is when the students are given a certain amount of time in order to write about an object.
Social Studies: This week we will be focusing on culture review and write friendly letters to our guests who have shared about their culture.
Please check your child's planner nightly and check their homework. This should also help you stay informed as to what we are doing in class.

Please remember to collect box tops
