SchoolNotes.com - Linking Educators to the Community

Ms. Gallardo, my student intern from Florida Gulf Coast University, is in full take over.  She fits right into our learning environment, bringing a fresh outlook on topics.

Its that time again; time to show how much students have learned.  FCAT Reading and Math will be administrered this week.

We also have an upcoming fieldtrip to the Shell Museum and Ding Darling at the end of this month.  It is a wonderful learning experience.

Thank you, parents for your continued support of your child's in their learning.

I will continue my mission to develop a community of learners who work together to achieve their personal best.

Parents may use the following tips to encourage your child to be their Personal Best!

Allow your child to be independent
        Promote responsibility for homework
        Accept only quality work
Ask your child open ended questions
Read with your child and have discussions over the topic
Dialogue with your child about everyday events
Use rich vocabulary during discussions, expect
                the same from your child
Create games to play while riding in the car to increase
                vocabulary and math skills.
Be accepting of their mistakes and guide them
Write notes to your child and have them respond in kind
