Goals for the Month of April 2008
SAT10 TESTING WILL BEGIN ON TUESDAY, APRIL FIRST. WE WILL BE DONE TESTING ON FRIDAY, APRIL FOURTH. PLEASE BE SURE YOUR CHILD IS WELL RESTED AND IN CLASS ON TIME EACH DAY. THANK YOU :0)
We will be working on Chapters Ten, Understanding Addition, and Chapter 11, Understanding Subtraction, in math this month. As the children would say, "Easy Peazy, Lemon Squeezy" - they are ready for it!!
If your child has not yet met the 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarter goal for sight word lists please continue practicing nightly. I know it can be a lot but they are getting there. We will be taking a break from reading passages during the SAT10 testing but will pick it back up again after we are done. Thank you for your help.
We now have 10 students reading AR and doing wonderfully. If your child has begun reading AR and you are running out of time at night, remember they do not have to read a separate AR book and Reading Log book each night. You can use the same book for both logs.
Again, thank you for keeping up with Planners and Reading Logs.
NOTES: Word of the Month - INTEGRITY; Field Day has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 22nd. We hope to see you there!!
