Check in to learn about what's happening at our school in the "tech realm." I will also be sharing some exciting websites for students and parents.
Currently have about 350 student computers, for use in the classrooms, with a variety of software available for each grade level.
One lab houses an additional 30 computers. We also have a 36 unit Laptop Lab, consisting of 36 Gateway notebook computers, for student use.
New Dell student workstations were added to all kindergarten through 5th grade classrooms. We also upgraded old teacher workstations, where needed. Cost effective laser printers, are in each classroom.
Document Camera/ Projectors are used in every classroom. These have been hooked up to workstations so that teachers can easily use the Internet as a classroom resource, to supplement instruction.
All teachers are currently using Smart Boards in their classrooms. This is an exciting interactive tool that allows both teachers and students to share information. Several teachers have become "advanced users."
