We have completed the third quarter and have begun the last leg of the year! Please continue to work with your child at home. This is the time of year when many children begin to get "Spring Fever" and grades will suffer for it. Report Cards will come home on Friday, April 3rd. Then comes Spring Break! Enjoy your child and your time together. Have him/her read DAILY so they are ready for the SAT 10 test when we return to school. We return to school on Wednesday, April 15. Testing begins the following week on Tuesday, April 21.
A concern for all is the budget (or lack of) for next year. As parents, you have the right to know what is being discussed in the legislature. Get in touch with your representatives and the govenor and let them know that children need to be the priority. Together we can make a difference. For more information go to

Please continue to read nightly with your child.
Homework will be assigned daily- Monday-Thursday and will be written in the planner. The students will usually have a written assignment as well as reading a book. Completed assignments and signed reading log should be put in the front pocket of the planner. Be sure library books are returned daily.
We will begin class at 8:00 AM promptly, so please be sure to have your child here on time.
