Caloosa Leaders are Launched here!

End of the year awards will be on June 10th at 8:30 for 2nd grade and also 4th grade. I do not know the other times. If you have another child you will need to ask their teacher. Hope to see you then.
The class is in need of healthy snacks. If you can send in crackers, pretzels, snack mix, etc for the class, the little tummies would be ever so happy. Thank you!
Check the weekly newsletter for additional information.
The 'AR Quarter' is over this Friday, May 22nd.
Make sure you keep your child working toward that goal! Please make sure your child reads at home and is ready to take the quiz when they arrive at school. Each week you will see a label on Monday that states how they have progressed with their quarterly goal.
Use the website I gave you to keep track of his/her goals and how close they are to obtaining or exceeding that goal.

Box Tops for Education!
Ask your friends and relatives to save them for your child's teacher.
We could still win some 'parties' through out the year.
(If you go on www.couponmom.com they usually have coupons for a lot of these products. That is what I do!)
Save those Box Tops for our classroom. For every one you save, Caloosa Elementary earns 10 cents! Those really add up. You can do your part by clipping 10-15 each month. When you have any, send them in. Below is a list of brands that you will find Box Tops on, some have more than one.
You can find them on many items: (3 box tops on them right now) General Mills cereal, Betty Crocker baking and refrigerated products, Cottonelle, Depend, Kotex, Scott brand products, Hamburger Helper, Hefty disposable tableware and wastebags, Ziploc products.
You can even earn Caloosa 10 bonus points for signing up on www.boxtops4education.com
Also on there, you can find different ways to get into drawings to get more box tops for our school. Check out the website-there is a lot of good information on there.
