 READING SPECIALIST AND TEST COORDINATOR  2008-09

CALOOSA IS LAUNCHING LEADERS!! 

Don't forget to read every night with your child.   Each student at Caloosa should be bringinig home at least one AR book every night.   If a student does not keep up with their reading, they will not reach their goal for the quarter.   These goals are set to help each student to grow in their reading ability.  You couldn't spend any more quality time with your child than sitting with them and reading a book together. 

TESTING INFORMATION:

Testing is about over for this year.   The K, 1 and 2 students have taken their SAT 10 test for this year and the official results of these tests should be back to each school very soon.   We are also doing Cella testing on all ESOL students to determine their English proficiency. 

The FCAT scores may be available about May 15 for Grade 3 and May 29th for grades 4 and 5.  Our FCAT Writes scores came back and Caloosa did very well.  

DIBELS:   The next round of Dibels will begin on Tuesday, May 5, 2009
