 READING SPECIALIST AND TEST COORDINATOR  2008-09

CALOOSA IS LAUNCHING LEADERS!! 

Don't forget to read every night with your child.   Each student at Caloosa should be bringinig home at least one AR book every night.   If a student does not keep up with their reading, they will not reach their goal for the quarter.   These goals are set to help each student to grow in their reading ability.  You couldn't spend any more quality time with your child than sitting with them and reading a book together. 

TESTING INFORMATION:

Our 4th grade students will be taking part in a District Field Test for writing on December 2, 2008.    This is a "practice" test of sorts, and we will not get the results back, so therefore it doesn't count towards anything.   The state is "trying out" some writing prompts to see which ones work well and then will perhaps use some of them in future FCAT testing.

DIBELS:   The next round of Dibels will begin on January 27 and end on February  9th.
